The Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, PA will be ready to host some massive names in the music industry. This field is a great venue to see and hear large music events. Here are some great musicians that will be performing there this spring in 2018.
The Kenny Chesney’s Trip Around the Sun Tour on June 9th is a rain or shine event that will start at 5 p.m. Part of an 18 date tour, this show also features other country and folk music favorites: Old Dominion, Thomas Rhett, and Brandon Lay. Chesney has just released the live album “Live In No Shoes Nation” that includes 30 tracks recorded on his previous tour in 2016 that also had a show date in Lincoln Financial Field. The Trip Around the Sun Tour will be a significant event for country music fans with this high-energy lineup.
Taylor Swift’s Reputation Stadium Tour makes a two-day stop in Philadelphia on July 13th and 14th. This event will start at 7 p.m. and will feature music from her sixth studio album of the same name. Fans will be very excited to see Taylor return to Lincoln Financial Field after her 1989 World Tour in 2015. She has since been adding dates to this tour due to massive demand. Although the opening act has yet to be announced, it is undoubtedly going to be an exciting show.
On September 27th, pop star Ed Sheeran will perform in Philly as part of his 2018 North American Stadium Tour. The English singer’s performance will features songs from his double platinum “Divide” (÷) album, as well as his other hits. He will likely perform “Shape of You,” since it has been a favorite song to stream on Spotify The highly anticipated show is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
Tickets for these mega-star events can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com. Plan accordingly because seats will go fast and there are limits already listed on the order page. However, Lincoln Financial Field is an open-air arena with lots of great seating to hear great music. With the Center City skyline nearby, these concert dates are sure to be a fun night out.
